Well - I'm still job hunting. I have had two interviews and now I'm just waiting to see what happens. Throughout this job search, I have simply tried to honestly say to the Lord: "Here I am. Send me!" (Isaiah 6:8). Wherever. Whenever. Lord I'll go.

I finally graduated!!! Yeah - I thought it would never happen. I turned in applications and I finally got a substitute teaching position at my high school alma mater (Field Local Schools).

Currently I am in VA with my grandparents. I love my grandparents, but I miss John

I am honestly beginning to wonder if teaching is really the career for me. Why couldn't I have wondered this four years ago???

My absolutely wonderful Pookie has taught me a few things about what dogs like to eat and I would like to share them with you.

  • socks - that's a given
  • hair things
  • water bottles - empty or full
  • 2-liter bottles
  • pillows
  • USB keys - I almost killed her
  • coasters
  • her own poo - yeah it grosses me out too
  • candles
  • the fish food container - she even drinks from the fish bowl
  • sandals and other shoes
  • hair brushes
  • pens
  • baby gates
  • and the one that tops all others - the WOODWORK of our apartment!!!

Life has been crazy. . . marriage is crazy. Everyone keeps asking, "How's married life?" Well. . . it's not as easy as I thought it would be. It's a lot of adjusting and it takes a lot of patience. . . which I found out I don't have. But I guess it's the super important stuff in life that never ends up being easy. I'm willing and trying to work at tackling patience. . . I have a feeling it's going to be a long journey.
